Laurel Snyder is the author of many children’s books, including Shrinking Violet, Swan, Orphan Island, and Charlie & Mouse, which won the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award. She lives with her family in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dan Santat is the Caldecott-winning author-illustrator of many children’s books. An honors graduate of ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, he is also the creator of the Disney animated hit The Replacements. Dan lives in Southern California with his wife, two kids, and various pets.
