Manuscript submission Ultimo Press is currently closed for unsolicited submissions. Stay tuned for our opening times in 2025.

Submission guidelines To submit your work to Ultimo Press, please fill out the form below. You will be asked to prepare some additional information about your work including:

• Pitch: The pitch describes your book and why it will be interesting to readers. Why are you the right person to tell this story.
• Audience: Who is your intended audience? What other books or authors is your work like?
• Synopsis (up to 500 words): This is a brief summary of the plot or narrative arc of your book. A synopsis outlines the main characters and conveys how the story unfolds, including the major turning points.
• Manuscript: Please upload your manuscript as a word document, double spaced using Times New Roman. For fiction, please attach the full manuscript. For non-fiction you do not need a full manuscript, but please supply a detailed chapter breakdown and at least three sample chapters.
• Author biography: Tell us a little bit about yourself. What writing experience do you have? Have you been published before?

Please note that we do not send individual rejection letters.Should Ultimo Press wish to pursue your project, we will be in contact with you via email within 6 weeks. If you do not hear from us, please assume that we do not wish to pursue your manuscript for our list. No further correspondence will be entered into and we will not provide you with reasons for our decision.
