The Private Homes of 25 of the World's Most Creative People
A collection of photographs of creative peoples' homes, taken by them. Through his varied contacts in the magazine and arts worlds, Rob Meyers sent a batch of disposable cameras out to a whole variety of artists, musicians, photographers and bloggers and asked if they would take pictures of the favourite parts of their home. The only rule: they had to photograph the contents of their fridge. Much to his surprise, many people sent back a full camera. The result is a unique, intimate insight into the homes (and fridges) of some of the world's most interesting people. Wander around the house of Courtney Love, Martha Stewart, Jeremy Scott, Daphne Guinness, Gilbert & George, Tavi Gevinson and more. Get an insight into how they live, the parts of their home that best define them, and what they like to eat for supper.
A Yorkshire man by birth, Rob moved to London in 2004 to study Fashion Communications and Promotion at Central St Martins. Since then Rob has worked for a number of companies and magazines including Arena Homme+, POP, Wallpaper*, World of Interiors and Nylon. In addition to this he returned to Central St Martins to work with the ‘next generation’ as one of the institution’s youngest lecturers.
