Inspired by childhood cartoons and animated films, she believes visual storytelling has the power to find humour and heart in the ordinary. Drawing from her own experiences, Tess creates comics and picture books that celebrate the humour, warmth, and occasional chaos of everyday family life. Through her work, she hopes to bring laughter, comfort, and a little more light to readers of all ages. When Tess isn't illustrating, you'll most likely find her baking something yummy in the kitchen.
