Fiona Kells studied art history at the University of Melbourne. For a decade she was a member of the ILAB-affiliated Australian and New Zealand Association of Antiquarian Booksellers. She edited the association's journal, Bookfare, and has had various other roles in the book world, including co-editing Richard Lane's early diaries, published in 2016 as Outback Penguin. With a passion for rare and interesting books encompassing pulp fiction and manuscripts to bookbinding and photography, Fiona lives in Melbourne with her husband, Stuart, and their daughters, Thea and Charlotte.
