Andy Amendola writes kid-friendly stories that bring motorsports to the nursery shelf. After discovering racing later in life, he started creating the books he couldn’t find—warm, high-energy picture books that explain cars, tracks, and traditions in words little readers can hold onto. He now authors titles for Red Racer Books and collaborates with drivers and illustrators to turn race-day magic into storytime reads. Andy lives near Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife, two children, and their speedy pup, Skye.
